The login/password you need to use to access this service
are the same as your FileShack or Shacknews login/password. You must have a Mercury level account.
The accesspoint for this service is: http://www.shackspace.com/upload.x
To mount your shackspace in windows do the following: (Windows XP)
1. Open Windows Explorer (not Internet Explorer) and go to 'Tools' and click on 'Map
network drive'.
- Windows Explorer is located under Start Menu / All Programs / Accessories / Windows
Explorer
2. Click the text 'Sign up for online storage or connect to a network server'.
3. Click 'Next', pick 'Choose another network location'.
4. In the dialog 'Internet or network address' type 'http://www.shackspace.com/upload.x'
5. Enter your credentials. It may ask for it twice, enter them twice. Windows XP is sort
of flaky here.
6. Success!

The url for your shackspace is <name>.shackspace.com. Spaces in your name are
converted to underscores.
FTP SHACKSPACE INFO:
1. Open your favorite FTP program
2. ftp into ftp.shackspace.com
3. Login with your same username and password.
- NOTE!: You NO LONGER use @shackmail as part of your username!
- NOTE!: You NO LONGER use _ marks to replace spaces in your username.
